Intellectual Property (IP) Ownership Policy
1. Purpose
Goalkeeper gloves are a precision piece of equipment. Proper washing and care help keep them durable and grippy.
2. Ownership Structure
- Client-Owned IP:
- Final approved product designs, colorways, and brand logos.
- Any branding or visual identity provided by the Client.
- Matrix Sports UK-Owned IP:
- Base patterns, size grading templates, and construction methods.
- Proprietary fabric sourcing, stitching techniques, or CAD templates.
- Any design concepts not selected or approved by the Client.
3. Usage Rights
Matrix Sports UK grants the Client the right to use and sell finished products without restriction.
However, the Client may not reproduce or resell the underlying technical templates, patterns, or
designs for third-party use without written consent.
4. Design Buyout Option
Clients may request a full transfer of intellectual property rights (including patterns and CAD files) at an additional agreed fee.
5. Protection
Both parties agree not to infringe or misuse each other’s IP. Any breach may result in termination of service and legal action.
